Donors have a choice of investing in the community foundation pool described below or investing with the other financial managers.
The assets of both NWACF and Care Foundation have a long investment time horizon. The primary investment objective of the portfolio is to grow the corpus in excess of inflation and to meet the current and future obligations to the community as dictated by the Foundation Board's spending objectives. This objective is to be achieved through the establishment of an optimal portfolio structure and through the retention of quality investment managers capable of meeting the specific performance goals outlined later in this document.
