Since 1977, the Village Art Club has offered area high school seniors the financial opportunity to pursue visual arts training at higher educational institutions. Almost 70 students have used the Village Art Club's four year scholarship valued at $1000 per academic year to complete their education.

Several years ago, the Village Art Club, Inc. established a trust fund to ensure these scholarships would be available for many years. This year, a new Scholarship Fund Endowment has been established with the Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation.

Every fall for the past 36 years, Club and community volunteers have promoted and produced the Bella Vista Arts and Crafts Festival. Profits from the Festival have been used to support several community-centered activities and functions, including college visual arts scholarships for 60-plus area students. The Festival is the only fundraising activity by the Club.
